Practice arrows
We hate the word – but there’s no doubt about it – these really are some of the cheapest wooden arrows you’ll want to practice with!
There's nothing worse as a beginner than wondering whether that shot in the green was due to your bad form or a badly made cheap arrow, but with our practice arrows you'll be able to focus on your form until your scores start to get competitive.
Manufacturer spine matched to 5lbs (from 20-25 up to 60-65lbs), and weight matched to 50 grains (+/- 25gr, often closer) for a set, these scandinavian spruce, or northern pine shafted arrows are of very good general shooting quality.
Both the spruce and pine shafts are straight (and easy to straighten) and strong. There’s going to be a few pin knots and the odd wavy grain, but we remove shafts with major blemishes before building them. We will cut shafts to length free of charge and can provide arrows up to 31.25″ from the base of the nock to the neck of the pile.
As long as you let us know the poundage of your bow (or what you’re pulling at the fingers, if you’re not drawing to the rated length) we’ll make sure that they’re not too light or heavy for your bow – we’ll never knowingly make an arrow below 9 grains/pound of pull, unless requested. Unless your bow is very light, we’ll also try to keep them below around 13 grains/pound, so you don’t have to aim at clouds to hit your target.
They come with a basic plastic nock, 3 – 5″ shield feather flights and a steel field point – all for £75/dozen posted to a UK address!
For clubs, businesses and organisations, we’re also happy to make up larger orders – 2 dozen £140, 4 dozen £260 and if you really want a huge load of arrows (or you just tend to lose them!) – 10 dozen for £600.

We’ve been using these arrows on a daily basis with customers, so they’re tried and tested. Happy shooting!

It’s always worth checking our Sale Arrows for what we’re clearing out of stock.
